Marriage Legal Name Change

I was not expecting my fiancee to change his legal name before the wedding. So this is why the blog url contains the words mikeandmariyakidd.blogspot.com. I cannot change the url, but the title of the blog I was able to change to Schoening. I am so exited to marry my fiance Michael and take on his name. I support him in his name change. Love you Mike. To do this legally research online: "(your state) name change forms" and fill them out well. Here are the forms in Oregon:

* Petition for change of name;
* Order to give notice to appear and show cause;
* Notice of change of name hearing;
* Affidavit of proof of posting notice of hearing;
* Post order affidavit of posting;
* Change of name decree; and
* Notice of change of name.
